New Schemes under AH & Veterinary Department – FY 2024-25
Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Government of Assam, invites applications from interested entrepreneurs/farmers towards the following schemes and programmes for FY 2024-25:
1. CM’s Flagship Scheme for Self-sufficiency in Eggs (New Scheme)
For New and Existing Layer Farmers with a farm size of 20,000 to 50,000 layer poultry birds
2. Special Programme for Existing Entrepreneurs Development (SPEED) Scheme Phase 1
For Existing Duck Farmers with a farm size of 500 to 1000 ducks
For Existing Layer Farmers with a farm size of 10,000 to 20,000 layer birds and
For Existing Goat Farmers with a farm size of 30 to 50 goats
3. Policy for Commercialization of Poultry Sector in Assam, 2024
For New and Existing Layer, Broiler and Parent Breeding Poultry Farms with a capacity of atleast 50,000 birds
All applications will be subject to documents scrutiny and field verifications as per scheme guidelines.
