The slow progress in the adoption of Artificial Insemination in some hill districts and remote rural areas has called for extension programmes like Farmer’s Awareness and Fertility Camps. Farmers' discussions are held in these camps to popularize the AI programme and generate awareness about scientific management of dairy animals. Leaflets have been published for popularizing the Cattle Insurance Scheme and Reproductive Management. Under Phase II of NPCBB, hoardings, banner as well as TV documentary and radio jingles were prepared to popularize AI.
