Vocational Training Centres

There are three Vocational Training Centers for training and skill development of farmers and entrepreneurs under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary.

  1. Vocational Training Center, Dalgaon, Darrang
  2. Vocational Training Center, Salchapra, Cachar
  3. Vocational Training Center, Haflong, Dima Hasao

Other Training Institutes

  1. School of veterinary Science, Ghungoor for training of paravets
  2. The RILEM (Regional Institute of Livestock Entrepreneurship Management) at Rani, Kamrup for training and skill development of farmers and entrepreneur (5000 per year)
  3. The Officers’ Training Institute  (OTI) at Khanapara
